Designer’s description: Aquariolis, meaning water bearer, will let you go hands free when on the go with your water bottle. Knit in the round, the carrier features an open stitch and a comfortable strap you customize by knitting to the desired length. Cotton yarn is used for its durability and ability to absorb moisture. Skills used in this pattern include e-wrap knit, purl, K2TOG, seaming or grafting to attach the handle, and basic bind off. Pattern includes sizes for single use bottles (eight ounce “shorts” and 16.9 to 20 ounce standard) as well as larger diameter bottles like the Nalgene one liter. Loom: 3/8 inch small gauge loom in the round with an even number of pegs in multiples of six, (such as 24, 30, 36, 42 or 48). Using a modular or adjustable loom is recommended to be able to knit more than one size, (e.g. KB Sock Loom 2, KB All in One, and the Martha Stewart Knit & Weave).
