During my visit to the National Monument last summer and the abundance of Dwarf Monkeyflowers blooming I posted the flower photo to Instagram with the caption “Craters of the Moon Flowers”. A friend suggested this would be a great pattern name, so I took this photo as inspiration to design this shawl. Searching for the perfect yarn combination became a fun challenge. This shawl is a fun, and quick little knit, featuring squishy garter rows and a fun little technique for the flowers. This project is great for using up some leftover yarn for the flowers. Size is easily adaptable, as is the yarn weight this is worked in.
