Freestyle Super by Joanne Seiff

This pattern offers an additional Low Vision pdf option, with all black Arial 24 point font and photo captions, for those who need large print.

Freestyle Super: a super bulky child’s raglan sweater featuring whatever colors your kid chooses! Knit in 4 colors (or more) from the bottom up in the round, this design uses written instructions, a schematic, and some tips on personalizing your striping choices. The sweater is completely reversible. If the kid spills on the front…turn it around. It requires virtually no sewing at the end, just weaving in ends and joining up the underarm stitches. Freestyle Super uses a Super Bulky weight yarn that knits at 11 stitches equal four inches or 10 cm after blocking on a size US 10.75, 7 mm needle. This pattern requires the knitter to increase, decrease, and play with color. A word about sizing: Please measure the wearer’s chest size and plan for plenty of ease. This is meant to be a relaxed fit…kids grow fast. Sizes 2 – 10.
