Noise makers are an essential part of creating a fuss on Purim! Noise is also a great way to help us through the darkness of those last days of winter and on to the joy of spring. The noisemaker looks like the cookie (called “Haman’s pocket” or Hamantaschen) that many people bake and eat on this Jewish holiday. Filled with jam, the cookies add sweetness to the celebration. Even if you’re not celebrating Purim…this is a great baby rattle or toy to promote musical play with kids.
