Honeybear Cowl by Renee Van Hoy

Two color mosaic cowl is shown in a large and wide version. The simple mosaic forms columns of interlocking stacked colors.

Accessibility statement: This pattern has two files: a large print, easy to read version with 24 point, all black text in Arial, no italics, and fully written out directions; and a screen reader accessible version with no abbreviations, allowing it to be read clearly by screen readers. The screen reader version is also in the easy to read format.

Designer’s description: Mosaic slip-stitch colorwork is just another way of saying “easy and impressive”. This pretty cowl looks hard, but if you can knit and purl, you can make it. No seams, no ends to weave other than the cast on and cast off. Is it fun to loom? You bet! Loom: Any peg combination with a multiple of 4 may be used. Sample made on the Cindwood Crafts 100 peg afghan loom. A 120 peg ½ inch gauge loom may be substituted, as well as a 60 peg ¾ inch gauge loom. Worked in the round. Smaller sizes may also be made – this pattern will adapt very easily.
