This pattern is all about the quick knit. Sometimes that’s all we need. We just want a knit that we can make quickly and get a little bit of needed satisfaction whilst we work on those bigger projects. Do you need a quick gift knit for someone? Or are you doing some charity knitting? Maybe you’re making it as a gift to yourself. This hat is great for using up those scraps that we have lying around the house. It took me 3 hours to create this project from start to finish. One evening’s work!

This is a mosaic hat, with a lot of stretch. It’s a great project to do if it’s your first-time doing mosaic colourwork. The main thing about mosaic is that you do the same round twice and you only work with one colour at a time. This means you don’t have to worry about getting confused about which yarn you are using and getting tangled with your yarn.
