Designer’s description: This is the second pattern in my “All the Jigs and Reels” ebook. The light jig is the second dance learned in most schools. The time signature is 6/8; 6 stitches lend themselves nicely to a braid cable and there 8 wedges around the tam. I’ve kept the Moss stitch from the cowl as it’s a lovely frame for cables. The Light Jig Tam is knit from the top down, beginning at the center. I used dpns throughout but you may use what you’re most comfortable with.
