Designer’s description: Mr.Lockwood is inspired by the movie Singing in the Rain and is part of the Night at the Movies sock club. Gene Kelly’s character Don Lockwood’s iconic dance in the rain brings me so much joy. How that man can move his feet is beyond me! I could watch Gene Kelly dance forever. Worked in the round, Mr.Lockwood contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using. The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer. This pattern is available as part of the sock club collection, or individually.
