Beanie style hat that can also be made slouchy, begins with a wide brim knit in a syncopated rib stitch. The body of the hat has vertical columns of 1 by 1 twisted stitch cables making stacked diamond patterns that narrow at the top of the hat.

Designer’s description:

This hat pattern is worked bottom-up, starting with the brim, followed by the body, and then decreasing for the crown. This hat pattern has multiple sizes as well as both beanie and slouchy versions – so you’ll be able to find the perfect fit regardless of your personal style. Worked in the round. When the crown becomes too small to continue, you’ll switch to the magic loop method or DPNs (depending on your knitting preference). Sizes from child-teen to large adult.
