Designer’s description: This is a wonderfully simple design of 1/2 cables that have enough repetition to be meditative while still keeping your interest to the end. It would look great with tonal, gradient and handspun. You’ll need a skein of sock yarn (between 275-350 yards, depending on the size and length you make) and your favorite needles. You also might like to have handy your favorite mug of coffee or tea, a bouquet of flowers, or even a happy song list playing in the background. Any weight yarn will work with this as long as your gauge (yarn/needle combination) creates a fabric that will drape nicely around your neck. This pattern will work well with any gradient, solid, or semisolid colors.

The shawl is available as a single pattern for $6.00 or as part of the Year of Meditations Scarf Collection, an e-book with 9 patterns for $36.00.
