Saturation Hat by Erin Randle

This slightly slouched beanie is knit in the round with a nicely textured slip stitch ribbing pattern.

Accessibility statement: The accessible version of the pattern uses 24 point sans serif font (Verdana) in all black text without italics. All of the directions are fully written out.

The Lower Mainland air is saturated with moisture for most of the year. Moss grows freely on roof shingles and tree trunks, while puddles dot forest trails and sidewalks. The hat’s texture resembles roof shingles, and the contrast colour brim mimics moss growing on shingles.

Saturation is sized between a toque and a slouch. Its squishable texture holds warm air close to your head. A small amount of fingering weight contrast yarn left over from a well-loved project would make a memorable Saturation.
