The Statement Scarf was developed to be a quick-knit project with Malabrigo Mecha — a glorious, squishy, garter-stitch scarf with one central cable to make a statement! The scarf is worked flat with bulky yarn, making it a perfect project for a beginner who wants to branch into cables! It uses mostly garter stitch, with a cable pattern on a background of reverse stocking stitch. The cable instructions are both charted and written. It is written for one size (which uses almost exactly two skeins of Malabrigo Mecha!) but is easily adjustable to the amount of yarn you have.
