The Good Things Collection by Lauren Rad

A beanie style hat, fingerless mitts, and cowl all feature a beautiful arching lace pattern.

Accessibility statement: This three pattern collection includes a second PDF version that is formatted for knitters with low vision. It has black text, size 22 or larger text in a sans serif font, no italics, no columns, and fully-written directions. The chart is still included but is not needed to work the pattern.

Designer’s description: One of the things I love about lace is how you can play with the scale of it and create a totally different feel. A stitch that is delicate at a smaller gauge can be showy, even ostentatious at a larger gauge. The collection includes a pair of delicate, textured, fingerless mitts; a matching hat incorporating mohair; and a cowl that also uses mohair and is knit at a larger gauge. For the Frippery Cowl, I took the lace stitch that looked fine and dainty in the Solace Mitts and Herbary Hat, but I scaled it up using a needle size that’s four times larger.
