K259: Lacy cardigan in double-knit; fits 30-40 inch bust. However, feel it would be fantastic in cotton. Might do this one myself. $10

K260: Baby Bath time. A tender touch and a little splash of color at bath time. These wash cloths are patterned with friendly shapes to please your little bambino. Among the cloth designs you will find: sailboat, turtle, stork, buggy, bottle, lamb and of course no bath time is complete without a rubber ducky. $15

K261: A Gift of Angels Blanket. This blanket sounds adorable and definitely one I am going to try myself. There are five angel squares and four lace squares. Sequence for the assembly is: top row: angel, lace, angel; second row: lace, angel, lace and bottom row: angel, lace, angel. $11.50

K277: Down on the Farm. Another collection of wonderful designs, mainly contributed by Emily Jagos. My proofreader assures me this is one of the best collections and, in fact, she has tried them all, for making an afghan. 15 designs: Barn, Dog House, Lamb, Cow, Horse, Rabbit, Tractor, couple of dogs, etc. $20.00

K280: Baby Lullaby. Another interesting book of 15 baby blankets to knit for that first arrival. “Lullaby Baby” blanket is full of luscious cables to keep a baby warm. Although this one looks difficult it actually is quite easy. A simple elongated “6 stitch cable pattern”, that crosses every 10 rows, gives texture to this striped beauty. Zigzag, Rainbow Stashbuster, Morning sunlight, Striped ridges, Quick and cozy, Cuddle-up, etc. $16.50

K284: AZTEC TRIANGLE SHAWL designed by Margret Willson. For the intermediate/advanced knitter. Margret Willson is well known for her distinctively patterned designs. Her Aztec Shawl, creates visual drama with just three colors of Simply Soft and Simply Soft Heather. It’s the mosaic stitch that creates the magic in this shawl, and the generous fringe finishes off the triangular shape with elegance. $12.50

K285: Chunky Sweaters. Sizes 28-40 inches. There are two sweaters in this booklet. First one is a pullover which has cables on the front; the back and sleeves are in moss stitch. Has a round neck which folds under and sewn to the wrong side. The second sweater has lots of cables, relaxed fit; short and long versions with either a crew or turtleneck. $12.50
