Accessibility statement: A Low Vision pdf has been added to this pattern’s file. This new pdf includes: all black text, sans serif 22 point font, photo(s) captioned, pattern is left justified, and use of bold type in place of italics. All directions are fully written out line by line. This pattern can be completed without using the chart included.

The Treble Jig Legwarmers are the seventh pattern in the ebook, All the Jigs and Reels. The pattern is also sold separately. The treble jig is danced in hard (or heavy) shoes, and usually follows the treble reel in learning order. Like the light jig, it is in 6/8 time, so I’ve once again used a braid cable. To complement the braids I used a waffle stitch reminiscent of the poodle (or bubble) socks worn by competitive Irish dancers, and the younger dancers in performances. The Treble Jig Legwarmers are worked in the round.
