Designer’s description: KEVIN! You all hear Catherine O’Hara screaming that too, right?! We reminisce over our young hero setting up his Christmas tree, and a bunch of silhouettes, to fake out the baddies and make it look like someone is home. I drew from this when designing the cables for this sock, taking on a tree-like shape as eyelets dance around. Home Alone rounds things out as our final pattern in the Night at the Movies sock club. What a journey it’s been through some truly incredible movies! Worked in the round, KEVIN! contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives). The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers – so you don’t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
The pattern is available individually for $5.00 or as part of the 12 pattern Night at the Movies Collection, for $30.00
